Karen Wiegandt, MPT
Karen is a physical therapist with 20 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy (St. Ambrose University MPT). Her training is extensive in the area of manual therapy, including but not limited to, Maitland, Paris, Mulligan, and Butler. Karen worked on site in Health Services (Performance Medicine) for Cirque du Soleil, La Nouba in Orlando, FL, with pilates, strength and conditioning, worker’s compensation, prevention, and education of the artists. She has additional certifications and education in the areas of strength and conditioning, personal training, yoga, and pilates. Her undergraduate education from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, BAT, has been integral with her extensive work with professional athletes, artists (musicians, dancers, aerial arts), high school athletes, and weekend warriors.
Kristin H Fenix, MPT COMT
Kristin is a physical therapist with over 15 years of experience. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from William and Mary, with a double major in Kinesiology and Psychology. She then earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Old Dominion University. After working for a year in a Women’s Health Center in Northern Virginia, she relocated to Sarasota with her husband and began working in outpatient orthopedics along with studying and training for her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification. She is experienced in evaluating and treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions, and additionally has served as an instructor at a college-level Physical Therapist Assistant program. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her firefighter husband and three children, and appreciates the variety of outdoor activities and arts available in the Sarasota area.
Nancy Melinda Ray (Mindy), MSPT
Mindy graduated from Memphis State University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Fine Art. After working in interior design field for a number of years, she returned to school and received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Texas Woman’s University in 1992. She has worked as a physical therapist since that time in such setting as rehabilitation, long term care, and in out-patient orthopedics. During her off time she enjoys jewelry making and spending time with her dog.
Rica Ben Shushan, LMT
Rica graduated from Sarasota School of Massage in 1992. She has over 24 years as a licensed massage therapy with studies in the United States as well as Europe and Israel. She uses several different techniques to maximize treatment for patients, such as Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Therapy, Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Rica is also qualified to do acupuncture treatments without needles using Electro-Therapeutic Point Stimulator (ETPS). Rica is also fluent in several languages English, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Arabic.

Marianne Morrissette, PT
Marianne received her physical therapy degree from the University of Florida. She has practiced in Sarasota and in Montreal, Canada. Marianne specializes in chronic pain, but has also worked in inpatient orthopedics and outpatient orthopedics. Manual therapy and developing customized home exercise programs are areas of special interest to help clients feel better and stay strong.
